Hello Ultimate Family,

Please click this link to watch a video from our Ultimate Masters!

Since the governor has mandated a stay at home order, we will sadly be closing our physical locations until further notice.

However, we are glad to announce that we will now be having virtual taekwondo classes with our Masters starting Monday, March 23rd! Classes will be hosted online through ZOOM, an app you will need to download on your phone, laptop, tablet, etc. You will need to join through the link, or with the meeting ID and password, all provided below. We encourage all family members to train together and strengthen your techniques with these videos! Hopefully, this new method will help our students to continue training at home before their next test. Our next test is currently set for April 17th and 18th. We are still in the process of figuring out how to have the test, but will most likely have the test over ZOOM. If so, the breaking/sparring portions of the test will be cancelled and Black Belt testing will be moved to June.

We will be providing pre-recorded videos of kicking and poomsae techniques for each belt. These will be available on our app, MyStudio, which you will need to make an account for if you haven't done so yet.
1) Watch these videos before the ZOOM class meetings
2) Make sure your video and audio works before class
3) Wear your uniform and belt!
4) Make sure you have a clear training area around you during class

Weekly schedules will be available through the app and website shortly. Here is a tentative schedule for the live online classes:
(5 min) warm-up
(10 min) exercise
(15 min) kicking and form training
(5 min) cool down
(5 min) Q&A

We would like to thank all of our students and parents for your continuous support.
We hope to open again soon, but will continue to be available through email and will send out any further updates. Any ideas or updates from you are always welcome!

Stay happy and healthy!

Sincerely,
Grandmaster Jin H. Lee

Ultimate TKD is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Parents, once signed up, please change your name to the student's name so that our Masters can know the students from other locations. Thank you!

P.S. If you aren't able to access wifi at home, this information below may be useful:

Several companies including Charter, Spectrum, and Comcast have announced plans to offer free internet service for 60 days to households with students as classes are moving online amid concerns about COVID-19. Beginning March 16, Charter Communications will make its internet and WiFi services available for free for 60 days to households with K-12 and/or college students who don’t already have internet through the company. WiFi hotspots will also be open for public.https://corporate.charter.com/newsroom/charter-to-offer-free-access-to-spectrum-broadband-and-wifi-for-60-days-for-new-K12-and-college-student-households-and-more (Links to an external site.)
